Goal and profile

I have recently completed a masters education in computer networks and I now want to work as a network technician or system administrator.

I got a large interest in technology especially in computers and computer networks. I'm a cooperative and accommodating person but I'm also quite independent and can handle working alone. My analytical and logical capacity is good. I also have an ability to easily learn now technical systems if that should be needed.

Education:

2004-2006	Mastersprogramme in Computer Networks, 60 credits (1 credit = 1 week of full-time study), at KTH Syd in Haninge. I have just finished my master's project and are waiting for my degree. The title of my Masters Thesis is: "End-to-End Performance Monitoring of SIP-Based Communication".
1994-2003	Bachelors degree in Electrical engineering (with mathematics as minor), 120 credits, from Blekinge Institute of Technology. I also got 42 credits in other courses such as English and Human Work Science. The title of my bachelors thesis was: "Comparison of Cluster/Distributed Computing Tools".
1991-1994	Three-year technical program on the Chapman upper secondary school, Karlskrona.

Work experience:

May 2008	Worked as a consultant from Peak IT as part of a project where I did IT-support during the rollout of Malmö City's new IT-platform. I was part of a team whos main task was to on-site where the computers had gotten the new system the night before see to that the system had rolled out properly and help the users start with the new system.
November 2007 - March 2008	Part-time job where I mainly cleaned some of the premises of Karlskrona city perish. I also occationally helped the matron of the "parish home" with the parishes café activites and similar.
May 2004 - July 2004	Work practice at BubbetorpGård's bookbindery.
July 2003	Summer job in approximately a week for Karlskrona city perish there I helped with the summer cleaning.
Fall 2000 - spring 2001	Student helpdesk at Blekinge Institute of Technology. Helped the Computer Services a few hours per week with lesser problems on the university computer system. Sat in their office and received student errands surrounding the computer system plus helped in the overview of the computer labs.
Summer 2000	Summer job for (datorenheten) at the Universitity College of Karlskrona/Ronneby. Moved, assembled and cleaned computers in the computer labs at the university.
Spring 1998 - spring 1999	Student helpdesk at the Universitity College of Karlskrona/Ronneby, same tasks as for the student helpdesk above.

Other experience/Knowledge:

At the the end of 1996 I was involved in creating the Star Trek club Trekkers in Southern Sweden and I was their chairwoman until 1999. I'm still a part of the clubs committee.

I have been a member of the Computer Society FUKT at Blekinge Institute of Technology since 1995 and I became partly responsible for the computer society's computer system and network somewhere around 1997. I have been helping to administrate the computer society's computers and servers.

I was a member of (Svenska Kyrkans Unga) in many years when I was younger. I even was in the local division for (Karlskrona Stadsförsamlings) committee for over 10 years.

My knowledge in English are good in both speech and writing. Much thanks to the Internet plus exchange students that are members in the computer society etc.

I got a good knowledge about computers and experience from a large number of operating systems (mainly Windows XP/2000/NT and Linux). I also to an ability to easily learn new systems mainly because of that I have used/tested so many different computer systems through the years. While studying on KTH Syd I have also finished Cisco Network Academy's CCNA semesters 1 through 4 and CCNP semester 1.
