Fileys Death Count

<Newbie>A beggar, he cant be any probs killin', will he?
He was.

<Still Newbie>Read sign. " Beware Pool Ahead, Proceed With Caution."
What can be dangerous with that??
Blob blob blob! Oh, my lungs...
MY, WE'VE BEEN A BIT CARELESS, HAVEN'T WE?

<Not quite a Newbie> Three little old ladies?? Hey, what can they do??
Ouch, quite more than I thought....

<Experienced>OK, its a bit lagy, but killing a rich beggar that I can do.
O, Sh-t, low health, better gotta go... SW. "Your feet run away with you". O damn, they run NE...

<Experienced>Why didn't nobody tell me that guy Plumchikk in TOSG was so aggressive??

<Not a piece of shit more Experienced>No problems, I just run in, type my alias for "get all from corpse", and get my stuff back. It will get fast.
Not fast enough...

<Experienced>Need more money to buy a new life. Killing an NPC will do it. ... ... What does it mean when a unique NPC says "It looks like I wanna join that game"?
Oh, that.

<Routined> This one is to complicated. I was on my last life, could not die even once without being exterminated. Walking along SOSG with 3 royals I my backpack, I suddenly ends up in river Djel. In a strange way, I was kidnapped by some priests, right there, on Street of Small Gods. They came there through a portal, witch was made by some wizard. On the other side of the portal, a priest had scared the priests, who left through that portal, and so ended up in SOSG. They saw me, a former priest-killer, and took me with them back to KLK, and I ended up in the Djel. This was a real death, last time. But the whole story was so unbelievably that the creators showed me mercy. Thank you Que and the other guy who gave me life back.

<Routined>Kartoffel (In KLK):"Why did you kill that cat? Priest in here are rather pissy about that"
Me:"I know how to deal with them"
Me to Narf: "How do one get out of this hole after those crocs eaten you alive??"

<Routined> I took Hiroko to Bandits camp (via passage). He knew some quests, and to allow him to show me them I followed him. He get lost and run out in the Gloomy forest. Giant spiders hurts.

<Not a piece of shit more Routined> After Kaea resurrected me: "Lets see if that spider is still guarding our exit. Shit, LAAAAAG. Oh, sorry hiroko, didn't know you followed me."
After this I saw I had run out of lives. But I did need to redo rearrange, so it was not that bad anyway.

<Semi Newbie>I were fighting a wizard, my health was down at 800+ and out of GPs. Suddenly my shield expired, and the wiz satchel exploded. Nahh....

<Experienced>Trying to kill Gut to get his fishing pole, were thrown into Djel river.

<Mid levels>I was in the Netherworld, and climbed up that wall where you just had to die. If you have been there you know what I mean.

<Not one single level higher>I thought "now when I'm a ghost I could as well climb that wall once again to see what will happen". However, a ghost raised me, and I was trapped again.

<Gapp am I great?> In The Shades, fighting a mugger, a fighter comes in, I take it easy, a troll enters. Flees into a room with more trolls, reaches my wimpy and runs randomly from room to room, getting more and more followers, finally dies in a room with 9 fighters, trolls and muggers.

<Getting used to death.>In the shades again. I enter a room with a mugger and a fighter, then, lag. I feel I'll stay out of shades for a while now.

<Have I been here before?> Me and Deneen and one more where cleaning out the shades. Ends up having 4 trolls and 5 fighters in a room and we had to split them. Its night. I run in to get them chase me and hope not all will. On try no: 3 something went wrong and I'm not where I think I am. And that means death in the shades when your chased by 9 NPC's.

<Yet another four royals spent> I was in Gloomy, helping someone (by killing the spids). Then our sysadmin says to him self "What's wrong with the router, I better reboot it"

<Lazy, I know>
I where playing with a client having white background and black text, and I'm used to the opposite. Didn't see there was 2x more trolls and muggers in the Shades than I thought it was...

<Here we go again>
I was in shades. Some fool had managed to drag 17 NPC's into one room near the exit, mostly fighters (12 of them) and trolls and muggers for the rest. I thought I could go in and fumble the fighters one and one, leaving the room curing my wounds in between every round. I forgot how large amounts of NPC's in one room makes lag...

<Bug death>
I finaly had a bug death. Some sort of compilation was going on, and while that, I was in gloomy, fighting a pine. Now he died and fell over me. Then he kept dieing and fell over and over again. Needless to say, I died. Death come, and died as well, along with Binky! The bad thing is I lost 200+ kxp and all my stuff when the bug also crashed the mud.

<Boring>
I was in OC to restore items I lost in the crash above, just 6 hours later. I saw a strongarm, and I have killed lots of them, so I threw up a minor shield and attacked him. Normally I use a major shield with 28 wisdom, this time I had only minor, with 22. Guess the result...

<Starting to hate this>
I just bougt myself a new life so I have my standard 3 backups. Then Ratman asks me if I wanna group and hey why not I think. First we go to Gloomy, but that is to crowded, so we goes to Oasis. There, I lost my major shield, wich I had been working on for quite some time now. After that, with my new less good major, we attack a c-guard. I am the priest, so I am the one who will have to fumble him. Wich I do. Next second, my health is down to, get this, -14. Just 14 hit points, and I would have been alive still.Gnahh...

<Yet another meaningsless death.>
Gloomy. Spider + lag. Worst of all? He was down on 'very bad shape' when this guy told me "WE MUST STOP SEEING EACH OTHER LIKE THIS".

<Clueless newbie>
I made a visit to the Snails, CWC. Got away with it alive though. Later, I run into a room with two imperial guards and some NPC, a treder or suchlike. Easy kill I thought and attacked. Then I died. Best part? For a long while I thought I was killed as a punishment for having entered the Snails.

<Wee, my 20:th death!>
I was researching the possibilities to kill a regiement, as in Bes Pelargic. Regiments come with an Imperial Guard, or two, so first step was to find out wether or not regiments aids imp-guards in fight. So I summoned a dust devil and had him kill attack the guard. The regiment did not aid him, so I joined in the fight. _Then_ the regiment thought it was a good idea to help. 10 of them, btw.

<Another boring lag-death>
I fumble a samurai. He notices, and then lag hits me. When I am out of it, i am down at 100+ hp. Hello mister TALKS LIKE THIS.

<I never knew what hit me>
I was researching on diffrent settings of armours and weapons. So I tryed out shield + ornate warhammer with little extra armour. Normaly I carry like 40 or 50 pounds of the stuff, this time I only had the shield, a helmet and a pair of hobnailed boots.
Grouping with Dirk and Kara we attacked a nobleman and his guards. Whom got in special after special on me. Then I died.
I got a ress, went back to AM to buy a life. An error on the mud-servers harddrive made it they could not save player files. This happened in a way so that the cash I withdraw from bank was saved, but not the life I bought, so I had to rebuy it.
Intresting part; later on, I was fighting a similar group only acompanied with a newbie (not two skilled assassins) and had even less armour, not the shield nor the boots, and they got no specials on me.

<I _knew_ this, still I had to>
Grouping with an newbie we encountered a monk and an imperial guard. The normal aproach to this is to steal something, get exposed, the NPC attacks you and the guard will help you. There is a chance that you deal the killing hit, and no matter what, you will get the burry. Only downside here is, monks have their brooms warded. Major ward. Boom! And I had very little armour on me. After this I reembered having stolen from a monk before, but then I had loads of steel on my person, and survived with a few hp, in the range of 100-400.

< This one was so boring>
I was in bes Pelargic when fighting a samurai. My health was down at 3-400 hp and my cure went through to slow. Just the minute before Kara told me "Don't die now".

<Never learning anything.>
This was much like the previous one. Only a few streets away. My shield was low on duration and went down when I was fighting a samurai. I had a cure queued up that made me run off to slow.

<Lame worthless good for nothing loseer>
I turned my back to the computer while fighting a thug captain, something that takes caresful monitoring of my health since they are a little bit better than me.

<Clueless newbie>
Back to the mud from a 9 months abcense, I got 500 kxp, I go to Agatea to get some more. There I fight some xp-bag^H^H^H^H^HNPC. When doing that, an Imperial Guard walks in and I have no routine of how to handle this any more. I use my last spare wheel here, so after a ress, I stuck up with 2 more lives.

<Wee, lookie lookie at my new skillzzor!>
I finished my 260 ot.pe bonus project, since I heard perseption is good against snatches. After that, I head on to get some unarmed.grappling. 29 levels gave 105 bonuses. Neat. Heads over to Shades. Outer shades muggers can't touch my ornate warhammer any more. Even better, it works. Now I enter the maze. At this time a group is cleaning out in there, and I find out my warhammer was missing. Looks like maze muggers are better at snatching. Well, Ill get some more skill levels, thats all right, now for my stolen hammer. Enters a room with a troll and a fighter. Start chatting with the guys in the group, informing them about my warhammer. Glade got the message "The ghost of filey tells you: Please help me get my warhammer back". Oh yeah, there was a few more fighters in there than what I saw first of. Oh well, thanks Glade, Jawa and the rest of you for clearing the area and returning my warhammer, and Wishes for the res. Which time is it now? We two _realy_ should stop meeting like this.

<Arw, hoyst ye sails!>
It was Talk like a pirate day. So, I went to Genua to get myself a pirate suit. This is why I had a cutlass instead of my normal trusty ornate warhammer. I now attacked a "gentleman". Doing so, I noted a bug that sometimes made me not get my heartbeat xp. I contacted Skye about it, and he ordered me to find try to repeat the bug. So, I walked around in Genua killing randomly. Till I came to one of those guards, that normaly takes lots of hp monetoring and performing of cure medium wounds on self. This time, my armour was replaced by a pirate costume, and my warhammer with a cutlass. Sword type weapons are my third weapon type, after mace and axe. The guard got in three clean specials in a row...

< Bottle up the scumble, my 30ieth death!>
After several years of imprving my skills in other.rigging.elections I manage to fulfill my plan to become High Priest of Gapp. Then, I go to Bes Perlagic. Unarmed fighting has been upgraded in a way that removes of me most of my hunting areas in the SUR region. I am saving up Xp for a 1.2 mill skill project, and reached more than 800 K. And now, I head down the severs to hunt hengeyokais.
While there, I find a neat group of 5 henges. To compensate for the unarmed upgrade, I need to upgrade some skills, and have not yet done so. So I have to rely on pumping in curing medium wounds. And now, the Disc lags. That anoying kind of lag where the world keep running but command input lags. So none of my commands get through, and I watch my health drop lower and lower. When below 400, don't remember exactly, I kill my client and go net dead. Then I log in with a guest char and talks to a creator. He explains the nature of the lag and tells me it is over.
So, I su over to Filey. Shouldn't have done so. And Plyss gets elected new High priest of Gapp.

< Never had this fun dieing>
I went into the Shades maze. Mugger snatches, but I am ok, for I have the ubAr haXXor plan: I put the war hammer into my backpack before every time I enter a room. Then, I take it out when I need to fight something. Only, I forget about the beads I carry at the time. *Snatch*
I do a few attempts to get them back but I realize I can not harvest the area alone so I start the project of getting a new set of beads. This needs money I find out, so after a while I return to the place to get some from the kill loot fence routine. There, I discover a group of players whe sets in to just get some Xp. I join in to get my beads back, and they gladly accepts the addition to the team.
I find my beads and are very happy. "And now for revenge" I say. What happens next nobody realy know, but the group get to much spanking, probably due to a member in the group having whimpy set to above 0% so we run around a bit aimlessly. And then and there, I die. However, with that group and a pishite reinforcement (Teebear), I am soon back on my leggs. All together, I realy had fun this time. I learned stuff and had some fun grouping. Also, I did spend my XP before going in wich payed off. I lived a few seconds longer.

<De-ja-death>
Soon after, the day after realy, I venture alone into the outskirts of the maze. Beeing recently dead, I have very little of my shield stacked up. I use some special attacks on a mugger or fighter wich drains my GP. Shield expieres. Boom. And I have another chat with Teebear.

<Remember to have your aliases in order kids>
I have now finished my fi.sp.ta from 70 to 200 levels project and feels I wanna try out the bandits camp again. The sentry is gone so I can enter a tent very easy. Only 2 or 3 bandits in there, and I kill them easily. Encouraged by this, I log off. The other day I log on again and just have time to clean out one tent, then Lanfear logs on and I am working on sp.we so I DH to Brown Island. After spending my Xp I go back. However, with little spare Gp. With the map command I "make sure" I don't walk into the room with the bandits and sentry in, for I had activated them. But I manage to get a new set of bandits on me. As I write this, I suspect there are two rooms with sentry bandits in. I gotta check that out later. However, I had to little Gp to DH out, so I have to do something. Holy sanctuary comes to my mind, but I need both a book and a block of incense. And I try to "fet" block from the conatianer and so on. I try the alias "escape" but later I find it to be "fly" wich is the swedish word for escapining. And the syntax of that alias was outdated too. Now I learnt that. Always keep your aliases updated kids.

<Confused ex-creator>
I am now back in game after a 3 year long detour as a creator. During this time lots of things have changed. Among other things, achivements. Just by becoming a player I get those achivements done, and 3 million XP. I play along till I have 5 million, and then spend them on fi.sp.ta. Encouraged by this I take up a strategy to build 5 million XP in a chunk, and then learn something. Now, at 4 million XP, I group with Narf in Bes Pelargic. He is "mudding" from work, meaning he do his best to type "glance" every 5 minutes to stay active. I kill everything I see that I think I can take on. This is the time where I remember why I didn't use to take on Imperial Guards.

<Worthless group leader>
We were a gang of XP hunters in Bes Pelargic. I volunteer to take the lead, wich we all regret very much. My lead take us towards the Hong Family area, and finally into their estate. I see a guard in a room and we are a full group, so there should be no problems I think. I attack it, and from nowhere the room is swarmed by 20 other guards, each with uber-skills. I die. Kaede dies to. (Sorry for that Kaede). Possibly some more. Think I lost a million XP. Best part? Those guards do not yield any XP for the kill.

<Karma>
Grouping again. Leader beeing a priest whos name shall be unnamed (Inige). I have 6.5 million XP when we are doing the Shades. Now instead of standing by the exit room and letting the leader hord the npcs into that room, we are beeing lead around. Soon there are to much of them and to little of us. I begin thinking of passaging myself out of there, but beeing the only healing priest in the group I chose to stay. A wizard begins to open up a portal but seconds before it is finished, "someone" leads the group into another room. Then, we begin to die. A lot. I lost 3.6 million XP.

<This is just embarasing>
I was working on a skillproject for wich I needed 2 more million XP. At around 1.4 of those, I head into the ram terrains south of Gloomy forest and south of the river there, as I do sometimes. Those mooses can be a pain. But I recently learned that I can special the crap out of them. So I begin bashing the moose, while observing my HP drop lower and lower. They have an awsome normal attack. At 700+ HP I decide to perform one more bash, then heal myself with cure serious wounds. Helth is down at about 150 when the heling rit is about to go through, and then "your divine protection expires". Cure Serious Wounds is a great healing rit, but it is slow...
