Priestly Gear
A priest can not run around with any set of equipment. There must be style to
it, especially if you are a priest of Gapp. Due to this I have compiled a
little list of things to have in your inventory without having to be ashamed
of them.
Weapons
Ornate Warhammer
Description:This warhammer's head is made out of a silvery-blue metal
that shines with a bluish light. Across its side are pictures of griffins
doing battle against ferocious-looking chimeras. The haft is made out of
carved oak, which has intricate designs of runic symbols running its length.
In the hands of an experienced fighter it is a weapon to be feared.
Data:Excellent; smash, bash; mace type; 7 pounds; two handed
Specials: Have a poison attack that at times give extra damage to the
oponent. Sometimes the weapon itself kills the foe, not you. This does not
steal XP though.
Style guide: This weapon is a weapon with personality. It is not only
a lump of metal on a long stick. It is a quality weapon wich has been crafted
by the best smiths out there with care and love. It is also expensive. Top this
with that it is a very good crush-weapon, and it is your obvious choise to
deliver the wrath of the gods unto the unbelievers.
Red-hilted Dagger
Description:This is a largish looking knife. The hilt is wrapped around
many times with a thin strip of red cloth.
Data:Very Good; slash, stab; Dagger type; 3 pounds; one handed
Specials: This weapon have an alignment indicator; when in combat,
flashes is in colour from white to black emanates from its hilt, telling
the alignment of the combatant.
Style guide: A brief look tells this weapon has more elegance that most
other daggers around. It is the red hilt that makes it. Together with its
long blade it forms a balanced impression of style and perfection. This
is the weapon to bring on the more formal events of the social agenda. Bought
in a temple shop, may it be in the temple of a heathen god, it is a safe choise
for the style aware priest. This weapon is also the given choise when there
is a sacrifice to be performed.
Containers
Black backpack
Description:This is a large, black leather backpack with a couple of hefty
straps to support it on each shoulder - you could wear it on just one shoulder,
although it would be awkward. It will hold a lot of things.
The black backpack has two side pockets and one main pocket.
Data: Medium to large size; black; 5 pounds.
Style guide: Backpacks never get truly in style. This one is as good as
it gets. It is leather, it is black. It is a backpack. Bought in the assassins
guild shop it comes with a minimum level of style guarantee. With this, you
can carry a heavy burden without looking too unstylish. Also, black and leather
works with everything.
