From time to time people ask me if I can do anything for them. Here is the answer:
THINGS I DO FOR A PRICE
DIVINE HAND (AKA PASSAGE):
Price: 5 amd, in dollars, not pence.
Additional information: A passage (nowadays known as "divine hand") cost me 200 gp, +50 for each passenger. On top of that, I will mostly be somewhere you are not, so I will have to passage once to you (200 gp) then get you to the place you wanna go (250 gp) and then back where I was from the start (200 gp) makes 650 gp. 5 amd is not a low price for that.
Important information for you: I may turn you down. If so, I tell the members of the "taxi" club that you want the job. To increase your chance to get me to passage you, follow these rules:
Tell me where you want to be picked up, and where you want to go. Example: "tell filey can you passage me from Drum to KLK?"
Be polite. Example "tell filey can you please passage me from Drum to KLK?"
A short "tell filey passage?" will possibly render the reply "tell <player> no". Remember that I mostly get money faster by killing a mugger in the shades than passaging you; I do it to be nice.
Etymological information: Passage is not portal. Portal is magic, passage is faith. Once passage was known as "passage". It has been changed so it is now known as "divine hand". The expression "passage" is still in use for historical reasons.
HARDEN
Harden was once a usefull ritual to turn clothes into armour. It has been removed from game. If ever returned, I will charge 40 AMD for one job, unless they have changed it some sort of way.
THINGS I DO FOR FREE
LONG SIGHT
Tells you where a player or npc is.
SHIELD
Protection in combat. Lasts about 3 minutes.
CURE, WARD etc. There are lots of rituals. They are not in high demand and I do not charge for them.
MEND
Repairs clothes. I will only charge money if I have to come to you. If you run into me at drum or anywhere else, I will gladly help you.
THINGS I CAN'T DO
I cant resurrect you. It is the Pishites that do that. Neither can I raise your dead pet.
